Fwd: Speech Recognition Software in NetRexx / Java

ThSITC

Hello Maxim, Natallia:

Within Your Java group there at SoftTeco (www.SoftTeco.com):

Shall you have to have an experienced Java-Expert who could recommend a good Java Speech Recognition Software ? I didn't yet get a response from the ibm-netrexx community. Maybe You could help out to enlarge my wisdom ?

As You might know from my home-page I am working on LOGOS LISTEN YOUTUBE <title>

This part shall simply LISTEN to MUSIC/SPEECH  TV on My Computer and Samsung TV.

It shall be later be able to TRANSLATE the SPOKENS of the TV-Session as UNDER-TITLES.

LOGOS is written in PURE NetRexx, needless to say :-;

Kindly, Thomas Schneider, Vienna, Austria.

Re: Speech Recognition Software in NetRexx / Java

ThSITC

Hi Maxim, thanks for your prompt response. This looks very promising ! :-)

Please let Natallia put this issue on our AGENDA for our meeting at November 19th, 2018, in Vienna.

I shall explain and demonstrate what I currently have in my Development Version of LOGOS.

See Product LOGOS on www.thsitc.com (still to be updated by end of this Year 2018).

We3 shall also discuss whether we3 shall offer the results jointly as a free and/or commercial service.

I am talking currently about German and Polish and Russian for the first prototype.

See You soon,

Thomas.

Hi Thomas,

Yes, we can recommend good libraries, since we have been integrating s-voice into Samsung devices for almost 5 years.

Could you please help to understand more about what languages would you like to recognise? Do you prefer paid or free solutions? What is your recognition quality expectation?

Regards,
Maxim

Re: Fwd: Re: Speech Recognition Software in NetRexx / Java

ThSITC

Hello Walter Pachl:

As already noted below, I'm currently trying to implement class Voice in NetRexx. I did get reasonable info from www.softteco.com, which are did implement a lot of s-voice (Samsung's Voice I/O) for Samsung's mobile devices, and maybe also for my brand new Samsung TV monitor.

Would you be interested to take over the QA (Quality Assurance) for this project ?

Kindly,

Thomas Schneider, Vienna, Austria.
